  • Recieves emergent and non emergent calls via 911 systems and administrative lines
  • Inputs calls into CAD system in a timely and accurate manner
  • Documents information provided by caller
  • Triages medical, police, and fire calls to determine type of response that is needed
  • Use triage to give appropriate post dispatch instructions to callers
  • Dispatch calls recieved from other calltakers to the appropriate units
  • Use CAD map to help determine closest and most appropriate unit
  • Update responding units with any and all new information
  • Scan multiple screens to get all approproate info for calls
  • Enters motor vehicle stops for multiple officers from multiple towns we dispatch for
  • Runs plates for officers on each stop and when requested by officers in the field
  • Runs plates for stolen or wanted
  • Runs individuals through multiple state systems looking for DL's, Warrants, and Restraining orders
  • Dispatch fire apparatus that are appropriate for each situation
  • Dispatch FMA and UASI resources as needed at the request of Incident Commanders
  • Monitor multiple radio channels at once waiting for Patrol Officers, fire apparatus, and ems apparatus to call
  • Fulfill requests from units in the field in accordance to our S.O.P's
