  • We have focused on the Nutrien Seed Experience in the region to help grow the seed business with the main crops we support, corn, soybeans, cotton, wheat. Also small amounts of sorghum and alfalfa.
  • Working with divisions to help implement the Nutrien Seed Experience, and also use it as the foundation of what we do.
  • We have narrowed the focus on the brands we support in the East, Dyna-Gro, Bayer, Corteva, Syngenta, and BASF. I believe that has helped us grow market share over the last three years. Corn Market Share has gone from 7%-10.72%, and Soybean Market Share has gone from 8.4%-11.29%.
  • The Dyna-Gro brand has grown or maintained market share all 3 of those years. Corn Market share has gone from 1.5% -2.52%, soybeans has gone from 2.7%-4.8%.
  • We try to implement as much digital tools as possible, such as The HUB and Echelon to help support the seed business.
  • I have also kept some key relationships with a hand-full of growers. This has helped me stay focused on our customer needs.

  • We grew our overall business and especially our Dyna-Gro business over that time frame. Corn growth was from 47,174 - 64,016. Dyna-Gro was 9310-15,177. Soybean growth was 214,719- 202,246. Dyna-Gro was 82,665 - 119,317.
  • We aligned with suppliers that had the same goal as we did in the Division to help us get on new acres. Bayer, Corteva, BASF, and Dyna-Gro
  • I collaborated with the marketing managers to find ways to cross sell our customer base.
  • I had strong relationships with 10 keys growers across the division. This helped me stay focused on the needs of our customers.
