• Assisting doctors and nurses by providing immediate care to patients with urgent medical needs, including taking vital signs, EKG’s, assisting with procedures and straight-sticks for blood draws, monitoring patient conditions, transporting patients to CT scans, assist trauma team, and communicating with patients and their families, all under the direction of healthcare professionals.

• Respond to 911 calls with the Fire Department when requested and provide care for sick and in-jured patients. Conduct non-invasive interventions. Assess patient’s conditions and determine a course of treatment. Work in fast past environments while dealing with challenges. Respond quickly under pressure, while maintaining awareness. Provide treatment and transport, and give verbal hand-off reports to a higher level of care hospitals.

• Assisted Paramedics in the field, vital signs, oxygen therapy, patient assessment, patient transports, rig checks, hand-off reports to a higher level of care at receiving hospital, radio communications, operated ambulances, worked in fast-paced environments while dealing with challenges. Responded quickly under pressure, while maintaining awareness.
