Electrofished, set and picked through trammel nets, and identified Great Lakes fish species in the field on Midwest Lakes Electrofishing Systems boats
Deployed and processed fyke and gill nets
Drew blood and took measurements such as fork length, total length, girth, and weight from grass carp in the field
Used YSI meters to obtain environmental data
Tracked tagged grass carp with VR100 acoustic receivers
Operated Humminbird Sidescan Units to map the Sandusky River
Trailered boats and operated motorboats on Lake Erie tributaries
Dissected grass carp to obtain fin clips, reproductive organs, vertebral sections, and otoliths
Cleaned grass carp vertebral sections and fin clips for microscopic analysis
Mended and cleaned trammel, fyke, and gill nets
Changed oil on outboard motors
Flushed outboard motors
Obtained river sediment samples using ponar grab samplers
Processed river water samples in search of juvenile fish and eggs
