• Applied paint using brushes, rollers, Hvlp guns and electrostatic guns to achieve quality finishes and achieving first pass quality.
• Maintained tools and equipment, ensuring that proper cleaning procedures were maintained and safety was followed.
• Collaborated with team members to meet deadlines that are expected to be finished before end of shift and if necessary staying overtime.
• Learned the automation process of prep and paint robots and with continued support from the maintenance and engineering team have found the problem solving capabilities necessary to work through issues with automation. meeting deadlines and knowing when necessary action is needed to be taken and manual operations to resumed.
• Plentiful tug experience with aligning mid and aft body’s and moving aft body’s around the 88-22 building.

Went through onboarding process navigating velocity, learned how to open and find specific engineering drawings relating to the paint work process, went through the baseline process of the mid, aft, and 43 section including initial masking, sanding and detail sanding, washing and cleaning, stack-up and 10-103/ 10-86 application.

• Did prep work on molds including Dual Action sanding, Block Sanding, Worked with fiberglass, sprayed primer and silicone and used PPE such as half mask respirator and safety glasses.
