- My duties included receiving both breakfast and lunch meals for 30 children at a summer camp at Tontimonia Park (Ravenna City Park). Had to monitor temperature of incoming food stuffs and distribute meals 2 times a day. Logging in each meal as they were consumed. Tracking food by dates and temperature. Keeping record of meals consumed and left over ...Returning unused meals to refrigeration.
- Keeping service areas clean and neatly arranged.

- In 1973 was hired as the 4 th maid for Korb Guest Hall at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio before they outsourced the cleaning crews!! Korb Hall was a dormitory that was converted into a guest facility. There were a couple Professors who lived there off and on but mostly for public use for corporate training, band camp competitions and the like.
- It was run like a hotel with 14 rooms to each floor. (Double occupancy. So 48 beds to make.) AM duties were shared as team downstairs offices(4). And lobby. Then larger lounging area , vending and break room. Each of us had our own floor we were responsible for that consisted of daily Changing or making up all beds ,dusting, mopping and trash removal. Twice a year we stripped all the hallway floors and refinished them and the rooms on our respective floors. Also between the hallways on each floor was a lounge area we had to maintain including a kitchenette!! Alot of work but we all helped each other. I enjoyed my time there!!

- Formed Friends of Juneteenth a Diversity organization ...designed to plan community events including family fun activities for all ages..from 2010- this present..time..
- And specifically our Yearly PORTAGE COUNTY JUNETEETH DIVERSITY FESTIVAL for 12 yrs in home community at Skeels/ Matthews community center....and now Downtown annual (event past 3 summers courthouse area)
