I am an independent, self-motivated, and hard-working person, looking for an opportunity to work in a data-driven environment where my analytical skills can be utilized. I am Comfortable with tools such as Excel and Tableau and their functions and familiar with the concepts of an open-source big data platform HPCC and the supporting query language ECL. Have extensive knowledge of calculus and statistics and will be able to apply that in any way necessary.

  • Imported average income sorted by zip code and used Tableau to visualize the data into a map in order to figure out which geographical areas tend to have higher earning people living there.
  • Set up a map in Tableau using the Marks function.
  • Uploaded each zip code I wanted to analyze into the detail tab and the average family income of those zip codes into the color tab which allowed Tableau to create a map that visualized which areas had the highest and lowest family incomes Trends Comparison: Imported daily stock prices for certain companies and used the R code to easily compare the trends of the stock prices of those companies over a large duration of time.
  • Used R Studio to install and download the quantmod package which provides a framework for quantitative financial modeling.
  • Accessed daily stock prices of various companies using the getSymbols function.
  • Used the chartSeries function to graph and easily compared the trends of multiple companies’ stock prices University Assistantship: Tutored students in the Math Assistant Complex at Georgia State University.
  • Helped students grasp calculus and statistics concepts for their classes.
  • Volunteering Experience: Have been an active volunteer at the Non-Profit organizations here in Atlanta.
  • Help to transport and to distribute food to the underprivileged here in Atlanta.
  • Manage the traffic in the parking lot during the busy hours.
