As a Sherman Police officer I have received the Officer of the Year award, Detective of the Year award, as well as numerous commendations, medal of valor, certificates of merit, citizen letters of appreciation, etc.


Under my direction, the Sherman Celtic Festival has been nominated more than once for best event in the Best of Texoma awards. The festival has also gained a extremely positive reputation across multiple states among other festival organizations and supporting organizations. I have been asked to contribute as a presenter on several occasions at events hosted by the Southwest Celtic Music Association and the North Texas Irish Festival in Dallas, Texas.
