Extensive experience in residential, and commercial project types, ranging from residential additions and new builds, to 1M+ SF manufacturing facilities, and everything in between. Currently serving as studio leader and client manager for national clients, I'm looking to return to my roots - and leverage architecture to create a positive impact on a personal level.

Associate Vice President / Principal Architect

  • Leads Mid Atlantic A/E private market sector, with overflow to Northeast, Central, and Southwest regions (RS&H provides A/E services through entire project life cycle for both public, and private clients)
  • Currently oversees national account for financial services client, leading delivery of market expansion initiative in various municipalities. (NC, SC, FL, GA, TN, PA, NY, MA, TX, CO, IL)
  • Manages due diligence and design/construction efforts for new denovo sites and tenant improvements, engaging third party consultants (survey, civil, geotech) to perform analysis of property on behalf of client before executing land lease.
  • Reviews client / landlord contracts for risk related to acquisition, and build out. Advises on cost and timeline.
  • Coordinates with municipalities (building, zoning, review boards) to gauge permitting and approvals timelines, and chart out development schedule to include all phases of project (entitlements, design, permitting, zoning, construction, turnover)
  • Reviews contractor bids, and advises on selection based on client goals.
  • Serves as lead architect for private national medical device manufacturer client. Projects vary from 1M+ SF manufacturing, to 100k SF adaptive re-use workplace/lab build out.

  • Led clients through Charlotte HDC (Historic District Commission) Process
  • Facilitated City of Charlotte rezoning processes for residential and commerical projects.
  • Engaged directly with clients to design and produce high end residential projects (new-builds, additions, and renovations)
  • Organized and engaged project team, client, consultants and vendors from project conception to completion.
  • Served as the primary client contact for the City of Charlotte, Atrium Health (formerly Carolinas Healthcare System), and Mecklenburg County, among others.
  • Negotiated contracts, project fees and managed project design and construction budgets.
  • Developed project team schedules, proposals, contracts and led team members through all phases of the project(s), from conceptual design through construction.
  • Managed design team to ensure projects were delivered on schedule and within the project design and construction budget
  • Conducted site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
  • Managed multidisciplinary teams to successfully complete complex projects within tight deadlines.
  • Assisted clients in obtaining permits from local authorities by preparing required documentation accurately and efficiently.
