Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Senior Principal Pilot to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located at Beale AFB, CA.

Essential Functions:

* Delivering formal training unit instruction for manned/unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). Provide subject matter expertise (SME) to include, but not limited to formal student training, airmanship, aircraft systems & performance and development & execution of operational training guides.
* Define, plan, organize and execute complex flight programs and flight events.
* Conduct briefing and debriefing, and coordinate with maintenance personnel to analyze and correct vehicle discrepancies.
* May conduct demonstration flights with customers, government officials or other personnel to exhibit vehicle performance, flying qualities and system capabilities.
* Must have a Secret Clearance prior to start and ability to obtain and maintain program.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree plus 9 years of aviation experience.
* Must be FAA instrument rated pilot (or military equivalent) with the ability to obtain a Class II FAA Physical or better.
* Minimum of 500 hours of flight experience as Pilot in Command and able to maintain pilot currency.
* Must have a current and active Top Secret Clearance with a completed background investigation within the past 5 years.
* Ability to obtain and maintain SAP/SAR program access.

Preferred Qualifications:

* UAV flight experience and/or Military flight experience
* Flight test operations experience
* Formal Training Unit instructor experience is highly desired
