-Responsible for the organization and operation of all furnishing warehouse space and other surplus storage areas.
The assessment of in-house inventory and movement of all surpluses in and out of town.
-Personal consultations with Senators and appointed staff coordinators in need of layout suggestions and furnishing availabilities and needs.
-Responsible for all orders through purchasing and OPS, as needed.
-Responsible for filling all order deadlines, both on campus and out of town (All Senate occupied space).
-Working directly with inventory control to scan and record all movement of Senate-owned/rented property, both releasing and accepting, and keeping a paperwork log to back up as well.
-Working directly with the maintenance department. On vehicle use, travel direction, and route layout, as well as time management and logging for DO and SO runs.
-Light repair and restoration for reusable surplus.
-Personal delivery, assembly, and setup to all Senate spaces as needed.
-Filing and bookkeeping, including invoices, reupholstery orders, receiving, and pending orders.
-Time and attendance for all Furnishing Department Personnel.
-Responsible for daily Senate staff and constituent needs, both in and out of town.
-District office and satellite office traveling.
-All duties pertaining to the maintenance and operation of daily affairs, conferences, events, fairs, etc. Including setup and breakdown.
-Responsible for the use of chemicals and operation of equipment in all phases of large and small contract operations.
-Scheduling, crew management, and training.
-Knowledge of codes, building operations, and rules and regulations.
-Paperwork, filing inventory, and bookkeeping.
