When I was hired on by Ricart, I started in the quicklane of the dealership. i worked in that section for 6 months and was told i can move to mainshop if i attended the Ford Asset program since they seen my potential. The Ford Asset program is a 2 year long class that allows you to become master to senior master certified on Ford vehicles while earning you associates degree in political science at Columbus State. I accepted without hesitation given that I have no problem with furthering my education and moving up to become successful. i gradated the Asset program within those two years but did not complete the associates degree due to fafsa issues at Columbus State. After graduation, i then began my career as a flat rate technician for 10 years. I am now looking to change careers for something more stable. Being a lineman at AEP is fitting and peaks my interest. a close friend of mine that works at AEP currently also pushed me towards wanting this as a career. As stated before, i am not afraid of learning. I am willing to learn everything i need to know, complete tasks as given, ready to serve when called upon, and become the best worker and version of myself that I can be. If anymore questions are needed to be answered on why I am deciding to leave my current job and why I think this suits me, I am more than happy to answer all of them.
