  • Responsible for all chemistry activities from lead discovery, medicinal chemistry, candidate nomination and clinical supply for Cybrexa’s peptide drug conjugates (PDC) assets
  • CBX-12: Led 3-person chemistry team to 261g of cGMP CBX-12 for IND from 50mg using external sourcing peptide, linker and exatecan conjugation (8 GMP steps), and DP production in phase appropriate manner
  • CBX-12: Completed design and sourcing >8000 lyophilized solid DP vial to support IND and FIH through Phase 2 clinical trials
  • CBX-12: Completed multi-kilo batches of CBX-12 peptide, linker and payload at CRO to support ~3.5kg CBX-12 for Ph2+ clinical trials and commercial development activity
  • CBX-12: Drove custom cGMP exatecan costs down from ~$1.2M/kg to $303K/kg through vendor selection/management
  • CBX12: Designed and sourced a novel, scalable stereoselective synthesis of proprietary linker that eliminated all chromatography
  • CBX12: Developed and sourced synthesis of double tritium labeled exatecan for developmental PK radiolabeling studies
  • CBX15: Designed and oversaw discovery chemistry program for MMAE-based PDC. Identified CBX15-51E as clinical development candidate.
