BACE certification; in high school through a magnet program I passed the BACE certification exam making me a certified Biotechnician Assistant.

In February 2024, I had the opportunity to shadow doctors (Dr.Clugston, Dr.Padilla, Dr. Edenfield) at the Student Care Heath Center. During this time I not only was able to learn from the doctors I shadowed, but I also was able to learn what a scribe does and how they perform their jobs. Scribes working with the doctors I shadowed were very helpful in showing me some of what they do, since I told them I wanted to become a scribe too.

In March 2024, I shadowed Dr.Roach in clinic at the UF Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Institute, as well as in the operating room at the Florida Surgical Center.
