Managed office operations and scheduling of approximately 20-25 employees for three offices during each tax season. Mentored junior staff on tax preparation processes and compliance regulations. Partnered with District General Manager to create and implement office-level growth plans and client growth targets. Completed Income Tax Course and prepared tax returns as needed. These efforts resulted in being recognized as the most resilient Multi-Unit Team Leader (MTL) in the Hammond District as well as being the only MTL in the Hammond District to exceed office goals for completed client returns and revenue for tax season 2025.

Conducted comprehensive investigations to evaluate unemployment claims, ensuring adherence to policy guidelines and compliance with federal laws. Interviewed both claimants and employers regarding circumstances leading to an individual's unemployment claim. Analyzed evidence and documentation while identifying any inconsistencies in claims submissions. Issued timely and accurate determinations of eligibility, defending determinations of eligibility at appellate hearings, and troubleshooting claim issues utilizing DWD's customized information technology system.

Supervised a team of Special Agents assigned to conduct criminal and administrative investigations. Reviewed and assigned allegations/cases and provided guidance and assistance during routine investigations. Provided supervisory oversight and planning involving extremely complex investigations. Monitored performance and conducted formal mid-year and end-of-year evaluations. Reviewed and approved investigative and administrative reports and findings to ensure they were concise and contained all factual content that were easily read and understood by postal management as well as federal, state and local prosecutors. Served as Great Lakes Area Public Information Officer and mentored new and/or less experienced agents. Collaborated with local and federal law enforcement agencies to streamline information sharing and resource allocation.

As a Postal Inspector, I conducted numerous investigations using various techniques such as covert surveillance, interviewing and interrogating, examining files and records, and obtaining physical and documentary evidence. I conducted numerous database inquiries utilizing my extensive knowledge of various Postal Service databases. I prepared and served subpoenas, prepared, and executed search/arrest warrants, collected, evaluated, and preserved physical and documentary evidence utilizing cameras, video cameras and other tools and prepared and issued investigative reports and summaries of recommendations or findings during investigations to Postal Management and prosecutorial officials. I testified at several arbitrations and court proceedings. My efforts resulted in receiving five (5) separate Far Exceeded Objectives/Expectations ratings which is only awarded to the top 5% performance achievers each fiscal year.
