As a part of CTI, I was a 1099 sort of contractor. On the business side I did everything from comparing bids to ordering parts from vendors to maintaining good customer relations. On the labor side of this I mostly worked on Direct TV systems to include SAT TV, IPTV, and DOCSIS (MOCHA).

I work as a Deployment Technician. This job includes low voltage work like cabling and installation of devices. In this case, these devices are WAPS (wifi access points), switches and battery backups that make up the backbone of internet systems. I typically do this in hotels.
