I utilize Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A), a SAP program, for dispatching military equipment and creating notifications for repairs through the Field Maintenance Shop (FMS).
- I receive, inspect, inventory, load, unload, segregate, store, issue, deliver, and turn-in organization and installation supplies and equipment. I operate a unit-level computer, prepare all unit/organizational supply documents, and maintain an automated supply system for accounting of organizational and installation supplies and equipment.
- I also issue and receive small arms, secure and control weapons and ammunition in security areas, and schedule and perform preventive and organizational maintenance on weapons.
- Additionally, I coordinate supply activities, review and annotate changes to the unit material condition status report, and post transactions to organizational and installation property books and supporting transaction files. I determine the method of obtaining relief from responsibility for lost, damaged, and destroyed supply items. I utilize Property Book User Supply Enhanced (PBUSE) on a daily basis to perform inventories and print barcode labels using Automatic Identification Technology (AIT).
