Summary

My 30+ years of buiness ownership and entrepreneurship started when I borrowed $2000 from my parents to buy a windshield repair franchise. I started as a one man show, and by luck or accident I turned it into the largest independently owned Windshield Repair Company in the world. Besides the 100 + locations on three continents, I bought two existing businesses, an engineering company and small chemical company. I did this to I insure we became completely self sufficient by manufacturing all the machinery and resins we needed to operate.

  • An Internet startup company combined with brick and mortar locations.
    These locations were Internet cafe/coffee shops with our Internet portal and search engine as the launch point on every PC.
    When the Internet bubble burst we couldn’t raise the funds to keep going.
    Because we were self funded we were forced to close down.

  • Bought out certain competitor locations & franchises to speed up our presence and industry dominance
  • Destroyed the industry leader after having a monopoly for 23 years
  • When I started, our franchisor had less than 5% market share and with in 5 years I had bankrupted the market leader and wiped out most other competitors to control over 90% of our market.
