Summary

I love working with patients. Though being part of the lab I spend a fair contingent of time working directly with patients, providers, nurses and other elements of the hospital team. I see myself as a part of the direct patient care team as well as laboratory operations. A keen awareness that the direct interaction is more than just being skilled in phlebotomy or as an lab assistant. Knowing what I do is integral to getting timely and crucial insights by providers and their patients. I truly believe that those of us who choose to serve in healthcare are more than our individual modality, but bringing kindness, comfort, compassion, dignity and humanity to those who put there trust in us. I bring more than my technical experience and work ethos, I bring my heart, a bigger view.. I see and hold dear the privilege I have, because the work I do serves something bigger than a job, but an opportunity to serve, to do good. I have been fortunate to have many experiences over the years as a contractor and a traveler. But am looking for a place to hang my hat and to call home, a place to serve, build and grow. I am looking for a organization that has a clear mission, a passion for excellence, for their patents and the community they serve. A place where there are opportunities to further develop and grow my skills and abilities. An organization that supports continuing education and opportunities to develop and expand into new roles.
