Advising/Mentoring students to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for academic success, prior to and proceeding graduation.

Duties/Responsibilities:

*Assist with Advanced Opportunities funding

*Identify and assist students with obtaining scholarships, applying to colleges, workshops, goal setting, etc.

*Plan career fairs, academic signing day celebrations, etc.

Reading instruction for K-5 students in small group settings, in a variety of subject learning environments, utilizing various effective literacy curriculums.

Job duties:

Implemented various reading/literacy interventions to best support students academically and behaviorally.

Instructed K-5 students, utilizing literacy interventions, in small group settings, in a variety of learning environments, to meet state benchmark goals.

Job duties/accomplishments:

*Trained/experienced in Reading Mastery, Corrective Reading, Leveled Literacy, Rewards, Direct Instruction, and more.
