• Interact with customers over phone and e-mail in a professional and courteous manner to resolve delinquency issues.
• Resolve credit and operational issues with customers in a tactful and diplomatic manner.
• Reconcile and research accounts.
• Communicate with customers on the status of pending orders.
• Interact with Warehouse Operations and Customer Service to problem-solve issues.
• Audit and take appropriate action on negative balances.
• Recommend accounts that need to go to outside collection agencies.
• Do light Accounts Payable and Accounting work. (Some basic accounting is a plus)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage approx. 1K customer accounts-
• Take calls from customers regarding their accounts (I.e., Past Due balance, Proforma Orders, resolving issues with customer accounts etc.
• Apply payments to accounts, sometimes working with accounting to resolve.
• Using TD E-Bill to process checks.
• Re apply payments to accounts
• Progressive letter sending for collections (sending out past due letters)
• Prepare accounts for collection.
• Maintain aging (Keep customers within terms) >30 days.
• Bring down DSO on account assigned accounts.
• Working with Sales Reps and Customers, Customer Service, TFF to resolve issues.
