• Maintain and grow donor portfolio for foundation donors.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with foundation donors.

• In collaboration with Foundation Director, develop and execute strategies for ongoing cultivation of relationships with influential players in the foundation grant-making community.

• Find, develop, implement, and manage all aspects of Amplifund (grant/restricted giving tool) to track grant-seeking calendar, document deadlines for proposals and progress reports, oversee project budget, and track donor intent.
• Oversee accuracy of Amplifund while maintaining the confidentiality of donor information. Regularly produce reports on activities and progress toward goals.
• Create documentation and improve on an ongoing basis for increased efficiency and accuracy.
• Develop and manage internal stakeholder training and experience.
• Working in collaboration with Legal and Finance teams, ensure grant and restricted principal gift intent with adherence to all stipulations and regulations related to successful grants, helping to interpret and prepare information for donors.
• Lead all aspects of creating, submitting, and tracking proposals and reports, including preparation of supporting documentation, and collection of required attachments.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to gain and maintain in-depth knowledge of the organization, its fundraising needs, and its mission, programs, activities, resources, etc.

DONOR RELATIONS

• Impact report technology. Liaison with: developing company and students on all system issues; LSA Scholarship Program and Business Intelligence team on student, donor, and account data; Director of Development on overall vision; and major gift officers on donor experience and expectations.
• Survey undergraduate scholarship students for multiple, annual campaigns to write letters of gratitude. Ensure FERPA compliance. Accurately and systematically document stories and share with donors.
• Oversee acknowledgment letter process for all gifts under $25,000.00 and partner on all other levels of gift acknowledgment, as needed.
• Closed gifts over $50,000 and executed all aspects.
• Act as primary contact for donors not managed by major gift officers.
• Partner with LSA Events and UDE to plan and execute donor events, including Deans Advisory Council and Celebrating Donors and Scholars.

DONOR INTENT

• Review all LSA gift agreements: Develop strategy and process behind account naming conventions, payment schedules, endowment reinvestment, donor intent, inspiration statements, and presidential matches.
• Primary contact with LSA Finance to review/determine donor intent to maximize proper spending in perpetuity.
• Oversee donor intent entered into DART for the College; partner on process based on current and future data needs.
• University-wide leader: Develop processes to document and honor donor intent.
• Partner with the General Council to honor donor intent and assess risk.

GIFT AND ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

• Lead LSA gift and account management. Create and implement efficient procedures to ensure accuracy with primary focus on end-to-end donor giving experience.
• Oversee gift processing training materials for unit customers.
• Ensure and document financial stewardship and audit compliance College-wide.
• Develop process to establish and update all pledges to the College.
• Partner with LSA’s 119 units and major gift officer team.
• Expert in LSA gift-in-kind donations and premiums.
• Create and partner on gift solicitation materials, including Giving Blue Day.
• Guide student groups and units on gift, account, and stewardship matters.
• Establish and update all gift accounts for the College.

• Worked in multiple University departments, including: Astronomy, Medical School Grant’s Office, Library Human Resources, Psychology, and the Office of University Development: Gift & Records Administration, Annual Giving.
• Provided customer service and staff support for all departmental needs.

Walt Disney World College Program Internship

Test Track, EPCOT

• Supported the customer service policy for a large volume of patrons visiting Walt Disney World, which was, “To make people happy!”
• Clearly communicated information to a large volume of rotating guests.
• Responsible for implementing emergency procedures including first aid, evacuation of crowds, and enforcing adverse weather procedures when necessary.
