  • Worked with Indigo Airlines, at Chennai station India taking care of the role as Regional Head (Associate Director), Airport Operations and Customer Services, Region 3, which comprises Chennai, Cochin, Calicut, Kannur, Trivandrum, Agatti and Pondicherry.
  • Roles, Responsibilities:
  • Ensure smooth day to day airport operations across multiple stations of the region, including ground handling, baggage handling, passenger service and safety procedures.
  • Monitor and enforce compliances with airline policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards (eg. DGCA, BCAS, BOI regulations).
  • Oversee on-time performance (OTP) and minimize operational disruptions e.g. flight delays, cancellations, and irregular operations.
  • To provide leadership and direction to airport managers and their teams.
  • Ensure consistent performance and employee engagement across airports in the region.
  • Recruit, train and develop talent while promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration and safety.
  • Ensure delivery of a consistent and high-quality customer experience across all airports in the region.

  • Headed a team of 2000 plus ground handling team and the Ground support Department for M/s. Indigo Airlines(New Delhi) in their self-handling activities by company called Agile Airport Services for a period of 04 years. Familiar with all aspects of all the ground handling activities of a ground handling company and its functioning.
