Rochelle Rene Snyder

RN, BSN
Queen Creek,AZ

Summary

Retiring early as a Registered Nurse, wish to work again and live in Queen Creek Arizona. Before moving to this area ten years ago, was an adjunct clinical instructor at Carlow university while starting Masters and working together with the big university hospital system there, UPMC. Clinical experience has been primarily intensive care and emergency medicine, and in this state Indian Health Services as a clinical specialist RN. Available to do classroom work, remote monitoring, clinical lab work, or on-line classes, plus Advisement roles. Early retirement for major back surgery at the end of 2017 and am now looking to return to a beloved job.

With more than thirty years spent studying heart monitors; pre- and post-heart transplant with Swan-Ganz readings, cardiac outputs, arterial lines and central venous lines. Intracranial pressure monitoring lines as well but would need to again study those. Very practiced at interpreting readings in relation to each individual patient with each one’s pathology, understanding what changes can mean in the individual’s case. Very practiced at interpreting readings regarding counterpulsation values, vasoactive drips and drugs including with interventions like dialysis, PRISMA and though have not worked with patients on ECMO, I worked with it’s extracorporeal predecessor LVAD at Hershey Medical Center, plus plasmapheresis, autotransfusions, and more. Extremely diligent in following doctors’ orders regarding parameters; checking and rechecking, keeping a constant awareness, if not hypervigilance of patients’ monitors.

Talented at performing patient consultations, administering appropriate medication and treatment and maintaining patient records. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to be flexible.
