I am a retired educator that would love to still work in a classroom type setting on a part time basis. Since retiring I still substitute teach at times as well as a side job working as a bartender.
Through my years of being an educator I have worked with every type of kid you can imagine. I worked with those that have experienced rural poverty, generational wealth and everything in between. I have taught doctors, lawyers, blue collar workers, no collar workers and people who are currently incarcerated.
Taught 7-12th grade students. U.S. History, A.P. Psychology and Civics.
I also worked closely with our special education department to modify tests and comply with IEPs and 504 plans.
I taught U.S. History and A.P. Psychology.
I worked with a very diverse group of students here and worked with many students on interventions, accomodations and helped prepare first generation college students who did not have that help at home.
I was also the head football coach at BMHS.
At Big Foot I was the "9th hour" coordinator. This position helped students find the help they needed and assigned them to specific teachers that would benefit their academic success.
I was also the head football coach and assistant track coach at Big Foot.
