This job is pretty much a team effort but at times I feel myself to be the only one doing everything. I can work well alone and I can work well with other people. This job has taught me to speak up when others take advantage so somehow i feel like a leader here. Everyone comes to me when they need help even though we have team leaders and managers for that who don’t seem to always be in the back room with us. This job can make a person crack under pressure but I have made it two years. I feel like I grow out of jobs sometimes even though i receive good energy wherever i am.

- I worked here from age 16-18 and then got my next job right after I graduated. This was my first job where I learned customer service and how to treat people who come and spend their money. Even though this was a fast food restaurant, I’ve received tips for being nice to them over the speaker at drive thru. Even before covid when people would dine in, they would leave me tips. I remember receiving $100, that was crazy to me but I will always remember it and it wasn’t the last time. Many of my blessings came from this job even though minimum wage was 8.25 at the time. I’ve learned to work with a team, help out when under pressure, clean up in a timely manner, count my register and deal with coworkers who at first, don’t think you’re worthy enough to be at that job. Working at Captain D’s made me the hard worker I am today.
