Greeting, I am Rogelio Arroyo. I am 29 years old and recent graduate from Northern Illinois University. Along my journey I have learned many skills including computer aid design, MATLAB, ANSYS, and many more. I take pride in my work and always seek a challenge. For my senior design project, I worked with BorgWarner to design an EGR valve housing for a new actuator. This gave me real world experience as to the challenges that come with this field as well as how to overcome problems. Starting from research and development, prototype assembly, and validation testing including CFD and FEA. The final functioning prototype allowed BorgWarner to reach new customers and applications.
