The office of the United Nations High Commissioner issued a letter in January 2018, stating and certifying that Mr. Rolnar Armando Sanabria Bernatte (passport number 140901825) participated as a source on the current elaboration of the United Nations comprehensive written report on the human rights situation in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. The elaboration of the report was requested by the Human Rights Council of the United Nations to the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in resolution A/HRC/39/L.1/Rev.l (accessible in http://undocs.org/A/HRC/39/L.1/Rev.l). The report will be published in 2019 and presented during the forty-first session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva, Switzerland. The information provided by Mr. Sanabria Bernatte to OHCHR was useful to document human rights violations and the situation of corruption and impunity in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. Furthermore, he is currently helping the OHCHR in finding other reliable sources for the report. Mr. Sanabria Bernatte is a former public prosecutor (district attorney) of the state of Tachira.
