- Was there for every resident's needs, including: helping them eat, personal hygiene, in-building transportation, and bi-hourly to daily health checkups. Avoided cross-contamination by changing bandages, bedding, and anything else soiled.
- Monitored each individual's safety, especially those who were at fall-risk
- Regularly recorded blood pressure, pulse, and weight of residents
- Specimen Collection: Assisted with collecting urine and stool samples to return to nurse
- De-escalated and resolved potential or ongoing conflict between residents, also assisting another coworker at times when being hurt by a resident.
- Documentation: Kept note of and charted resident's day by what I did for them/what they needed, letting my coworkers (especially the nurses and family) be in the know of everything important.
