  • I was a Sales and Service Tech, I sold filtration and parts washers to large computer cutting industries, as well as small automotive shops. I traveled SC and GA in my position. The machines I sold I serviced them on set intervals as well I made repairs if needed. I was the number one salesman in the company in my division nationwide for two consecutive years and was leading the year before the layoffs. I grew my territory in both states with the ability to communicate with corporate leaders and plant managers with my product knowledge and sales skills. The gross sales and territory grew from 30% annually to over 78% in gross profit while I was there. I was often part of sales blitz teams that flew to other locations across the country to assist in their start-ups and to help increase sales and to search for new customer in their areas, it was a team effort with other reps from other branches. The teams were made up of two people, and we were sent out to pick up new customers and sale as much product as possible in one week, the times I was part of the blitz we usually sold the most or picked up the most accounts by using sales techniques that were offered and implemented by other reps. This helped not only me but my company as a whole, that shows, I am willing and able to do what is necessary to become a team player to increase sales and help the company expand.
