- My duties began with outreach, safe sex surveys. Implementing programs through group facilitation, sharing interventions and knowledge around AIDS and HIV care and adherence.
- In 2012 we implemented the mobile testing program. Most testing took place during evening and late hours during the club scene. Spending anywhere from 2-4 hours per location providing 1 minute HIV test results.
- Once a positive result was discovered I was able to link to individuals directly to care for a doctor’s appointment within 72 hours. This was my introduction to case management.
