Summary

I have gained experience through being at every level of construction. From being a laborer and trying to prove myself to owning a company and doing whats best for my employees. I have negotiated a numerous amount of contracts, and sorted through a wide variety of subcontractor bids. Going into business for myself right out of high school instilled a work ethic and drive in me to always produce the best product for myself and the client. It put me into a situation that no matter what I had to do I couldn't fail no matter what circumstances. This along with many other things gave me the skills to be able to adapt and overcome any situation. I not only have acquired the leadership skills but also the skills do be able to do any type of work myself if needed. Being able to get out and work beside the people you are supposed to be leading to me is a way to be able to gain the respect of the crew. I feel that it builds the trust they have for you. At the end of the day when you have an environment like that I have found that is when you have the smoothest and most efficient system to work in, and ultimately be able to produce results.

  • I have built office spaces from the ground up in Ridgley, TN when we had a contract with Camo Disposal company there. It was a 15 unit office building. We also reworked and remodeled there existing office at another one of their locations in Kennett, MO.
  • We were one of the companies that subcontracted for the Howard school building renovation in Nashville,TN. We took care of hanging and finishing the drywall, moving and installing new electrical, as well as new floors.
  • I ran new security cameras for almost all of the nashville star train stations in Nashville. This included cutting and removing concrete, installing quazite boxes, running new pipe, and back filling and pouring new concrete.
  • I negotiated the contracts for all the jobs and had to review multiple subcontractors bids to be able to find the most cost effective option. In my eyes this means if it costs more but the quality and time match the price increase that would be a cost efficacy that would be acceptable.

  • Worked with several apartment complexes in middle TN area such as Colony Manor apartments, Rivergate Acres, Stonegate manufactured housing community. These were all owned by the Johnson family based out of Mount Juliet, TN.
  • I designed and remodeled the apartments when they would become vacant. The remodeling process would include structural foundation work, roofing repair and replace, all new framing when needed, flooring install, tile work, drywall hanging and finishing, new electrical ran throughout, new plumbing (switching from copper to pex), and we would lastly design a new layout for the kitchen and install the cabinets and countertops according to new design.
  • I also worked in Hopkinsville, KY on a two hundred unit complex. We Remodeled just a little over half of it before the property was sold off. This was for the same owners of the previous complexes.
  • In majority of these cases i had anywhere between 5-15 people under me. In some instances it would be around 30 people at once.
