  • My current role at the emerald learning center outside of directly working with students entails training new hire cohorts, running staff debriefs, along with weekly competency checks and trainings.

  • My first behavior tech job was with Connections behavioral planning and intervention as a RBT2, I was responsible for maintaining the safety, dignity and programming of typically 1-2 clients per day.
  • The age range of my clients is wide, ages 4-18 in a variety of settings home, school and at the company's center/clinic many of whom are nonverbal.
  • I have been trained to manage and have handled first hand low level as well as severe behaviors.
  • Managing situations involving Physical aggression (scratch, bite, hit, etc.), elopement (running into unsafe areas/away from staff), Disrobing, inappropriate or uncontrolled bodily functions etc.
  • I am responsible for recording any and all data throughout my sessions including step by step ABC data post escalations of high severity, i also occasionally run data analysis on any behaviors that occur throughout a 1-2 week span to identify the trends of a client's behavior.
