Floor hand Duties

• Maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment operation to ensure that health and safety regulations are met.
• Performed routine Maintenance and inspections on drilling equipment to ensue optimal performance
• Utilized iron roughneck and tongs to safely connect and disconnect drill pipe sections.
• Maintained cleanliness of the rig and drilling floor, including equipment washing and painting.
• Monitored equipment for safety issues and reported any concerns to supervisors.
• Assisted in preventative maintenance and repairs of drilling equipment, motors, and pumps across the drilling rig to mitigate downtime from drilling operations.
• Supported mud and fluid management by monitoring fluid viscosity, PH levels, and weight of mud going into the system and returning to reserved tanks.

Motorman Duties
