After retiring from the Cumberland County School System in 2006 I have filled in as an administrator for approximately 25 schools and just finished at Byrd High School in June 2026.. I received the key to city from the Fayetteville City Council in November 2025 for community work as Pastor of One Church Covenant Fellowship. I received the Outstanding Volunteer Award from the NC Prison System in 1998. I was the pastor of Word of Truth Ministry, Inc ( 1998-2020) and One Church Covenant Fellowship ( 2020-2025). I am now an advisor and mentor to the church.

I have a high school diploma from Hope Mills High School in 1971. A Bachelor of Arts from Winston Salem State University in 1975. A Masters Degree from Fayetteville State University in 1992. A doctorate in Christian Theology and Counseling in 2018.
