• Preceptor Flight Paramedic/Nurse that orientates new hire Flight Crew Medical members. Over 400 patient loaded flights with lots of experience doing ICU to ICU transfers and critical scene flights at the 2nd busiest base in the company. Base averages approximately 60 flights per month with a minimum of one hour flight time to closest trauma, cardiac, or neurology center.
• Transports and manages ventilators, critical care medication infusions, hemodynamic monitoring of arterial lines and swan-gauze catheters, Intra-Aortic Balloon pumps, Impella, I-STAT labs, ultrasound and blood administration.
• Lead Educator Coordinator of ACLS, PALS, BLS, PHTLS, AMLS and CAPCE education courses for North Texas/Southeastern Oklahoma/Southwestern Arkansas region.

Chase Nurse of 29 bed ER

ED Nurse in 10 bed ER with 23 hour observation. Responsible for entire ED and runs all your own labs in laboratory. I helped open this new ED as one of the first RNs hired. We organized and set up medication room, crash carts, and supply room. Did inventory and ordering of supplies until clinical director was hired.

Floats to ER and ICU for staffing needs.

• Interacted with flow charge RN to expedite patient movement through the ER to help decreased the length of stay by prioritizing tasks and care of daily patients in waiting room. Performing reassessment, standing order initiation of x-rays, pain management and fever management.
• Helped Develop the Paramedic Preceptor program and coordination with SIM Lab and ER education team to implement oncoming competency training for paramedics.
• Initiation of IVs, standing orders and medication administration in the Emergency Department
