- Greeted and seated guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, making them feel right at home or welcoming them back as if they were an old friend.
- Seating guests at tables while considering preferences and table rotation to balance server workloads.
- Answering phone calls for guest inquiries and booking reservations and keep host stand clean and tidy.
- Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company Team Members to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate that will be conducive to maximum Team Member morale, productivity and efficiency/effectiveness.
- Memorizing and providing menu information, including for food allergies or special dietary restrictions and promoting menu specials.
- Operate POS system, ability to record and input customer information in the POS system.
- Keep calm and multitask in a high traffic environment with time restraints.
- Able to follow direction with focus to detail and work under minimal supervision
- Supporting front of the house staff by assisting with bussing, refilling drinks, and cleaning and clearing tables.
- Supporting other staff by helping with other tasks as needed.
- Respond to on-the-fly requests with ease and poise.
- Strive to go above and beyond for every guest including by getting to know regular guests’ names, preferences, and anticipate their needs and make every experience at the restaurant memorable.
