Numerous gold, silver and bronze medals in various worldwide venues.

Initially, I started out as a three-sport competitor. My primary fields of interests were weightlifting, track and field, and pistol competition. An injury,  caused me to forego my ambitions in track and field, so I focused on weightlifting and firearms competition. My first big win, in firearms was the 1997 NRA Regional Championships, in 1997, here in Memphis, in the Sharpshooter category.

In between winning the NRA Regional, I also won numerous local and state awards. First big win was in Indianapolis, Indiana (2001) where I won my first world/international medal (weightlifting) in police competitions. There were also numerous gold medals (3) won in Barcelona, Spain (2003), Las Vegas, Nevada (2), and in Quebec, Canada (2) mainly in firearms competitions.

Collectively, I have won at least ten (10) gold medals, during my career.  There are also numerous silver and bronze medals won from various contests. I stopped competing, after 2014, subsequent to placing in the NRA Police Shooting Championships in 2015.
