Assists the Chief of Police and Gary Police Department, and he/she is a very visible leader in the community.

Shall by virtue of his office be chairman of the Executive Board members and preside over all meetings.

Present at each annual meeting of the organization an annual report regarding the work of the organization. Appoint all committees and positions, temporary or permanent.

Establish priorities and implement vision and change if needed.

Develop detailed action plans with accountabilities for each objective.

Communicate with the Police Chief, Police Liaison (Commander), Police Department and other agencies.

Assist personnel as they deal with the pressures and responsibilities of life, and of their profession, as well as respond to victims of crime and tragedy.

Trained to strictly observe agency protocol to ensure crime scene integrity is maintained.

Serve as a liaison with other clergy and between law enforcement and the community.

Offer prayer for special occasions and ceremonies, for agency personnel and their families facing difficult personal situations, or for Roll Calls.

Duties include quantity surveys, estimates, project scheduling, and hands-on project management for commercial, industrial, residential projects.

Preparation of project estimates to ensure all factors are properly considered, priced, and included in the estimate summary.

Performing site visits and investigations. Examine & evaluate the plans & specifications being used for estimates.

Revised and adjusted utility plans to fit American Water requirements for developers.

Assisted with professional engineers as project manager for metering schematic drawings (domestic, irrigation, and fire services), water main replacements, and new water services in Lake/ Porter County, and water main extension projects.

Accompanied in fieldwork such as hydrant flows and water service connections.

Ability to work with minimal guidance on varied engineering planning, design and construction related assignments under the direction of an Engineer or other supervisory personnel.

Completed dimensional floor plans layout drawings on AutoCAD programs.

Assisted in the preparation of proposal and working documents, maintaining quantity, graphic quality, accuracy and completeness of work.

Accompanied in fieldwork such as measuring the area of buildings and redesigning existing floor plans.
