• Perform echocardiograms according to established protocol including 2-D, M-Mode, tissue doppler, strain imaging, color flow, contrast and doppler on adolescents and adults being evaluated for suspected or known congenital and acquired heart disease.
• Knowledgeable and proficiency in abdominal, OB- 1st trimester, 2nd trimester and 3rd trimester, GYN, transvaginal, thyroid, scrotum, breast, pediatric and soft tissue ultrasound examinations
• Perform a full scope of vascular procedures including venous/arterial duplex of lower and upper extremities, vein mapping, thoracic outlet syndrome, carotid duplex, arteriovenous fistulas/grafts, bypass grafts and PVR/segmental pressures of lower and upper extremities, renal and visceral.
• Prepare preliminary reports and assess the technical quality and completeness of ultrasounds performed.
• Assist with interventional procedures to include thoracentesis, paracentesis, pericardiocentesis, breast, liver, thyroid, renal, prostate, soft tissue biopsies, venous ablation, and abscess drainage.
• Recognize the difference between normal and abnormal sonographic anatomy.
• Analyze sonographic examinations and medical history and communicate findings to Radiologist/Cardiologist/Vascular surgeon.
