  • Perform technical planning of telecommunications projects including the management of RedSky E911, Avaya Aura Messaging, Cisco CUCM, Cisco switch/router and video, Riverbed Firewall, and connected peripherals and adjuncts
  • Host weekly recurring meetings with multiple business units including but not limited to Security Operations, Telecommunications/Network Engineers, Facilities Operations Engineers, Cyber Security Engineers, Network Operations Center Staff (NOC) to review the OCC's infrastructure connectivity and plan future implementations and planed power downs, and decommissioning of network systems
  • Establish policies related to server specification, latest security features, firmware/hardware upgrades to ensure telecommunications systems follow cyber security and compliance standards based on monthly agency security scan reports and NIST recommendations for all federal systems
  • Prepare annual budget request Senior Staff and Acquisitions approval for yearly project projections
  • Proposed budgets by my team include the cost of technical assistance, installation, testing, modification, and maintenance of telecommunications equipment, licensing, and vendor services/ support
  • Assign teams to maintain protocols and procedures after installations or upgrades of voice and data systems

  • Manage multiple projects or tasks through the systems development life cycle (Agile/Waterfall) from project initiation, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance by using a standard methodologies recommended by OCC's standard operating procedures (SOP)
  • Direct Staff (including contractors) in administering, developing, and maintaining information technology projects
