Perform, lead, and train crews to install, repair, and maintain water distribution and wastewater collections systems

· Operate backhoe and large excavation equipment

Train employees for CDL and proper equipment operation

· Ensure proper dosing and disinfection of water mains and repair material

· Review, interpret, and train crew members on maps, plans, and drawings

· Create permits for street cuts and confined space entry, ensure traffic control plans, trench safety, and worksite safety practices are followed

· Coordinate installation of well point and bypass pumps

· Create work orders, log time, material, equipment, and work performed in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

· Provide customer service while performing responsibilities

· Coordinate activities on the job site with engineers, construction inspectors, other City departments, and external customers

· Performs other related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required.
