Shipping and Receiving- Weigh all packages, check labels and addresses insuring that packages are ready to be shipped

Upon receiving packages check all to make sure that they are delivered to correct building (40 or 40A) with correct name,floor and room number Once all the incoming packages are checked in now they are signed for the packages are sorted by floors delivered through out the facility

However if the recipient is not there we check to see if someone else can sign for the package if not the recipient get a email stating that they have a package is at the loading

Loading dock should be kept clean at all times including swept on a daily bases or as needed Cold room and temperature must be checked on a daily bases Detergent room must be kept clean and free of non chemicals


Facility Support Technician

Under this task order, the contractor will independently provide services to satisfy the overall operational objectives of National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases The primary objective is to provide contractor services and deliverables through through performance of technical support


Tasks/Services

  • Glassware washing machine, Sterilization of a wide variety of laboratory/veterinary instruments
  • Maintain stock levels of glassware reorders supplies
  • Refills liquid nitrogen tanks
  • Assemble and arranges glassware, instruments,linen, and other necessary
  • Decontaminates bio-hazardous trash placement in boxes for disposal as medical pathological waste (MPW),or discard as general laboratory waste
  • Operates commonly used laboratory equipment and perform minor maintenance and repairs Collaborate without side repair personnel to initiate and resolve typical service needs on facility equipment
  • Check on facility roster of Milli-Q water purification systems
  • Certifies operation of all facility eye wash stations
