At my current job we are required to stand for long periods of time at certain areas around the premises preventing unauthorized access to the building. Our posts switch around with different responsibilities such as checking passengers boarding pass and Passports to be able to board the cruise chips, making sure no one has any unauthorized objects after passing through a metal detector which includes female pat downs if needed, or just standing by any escalators to ensure passengers safety going up and down pressing the off button if anyone were to fall on the escalator. In general i’m working with the public answering any questions passengers may have.
