Research Interests

My multidisciplinary research interests are in the general areas of Analytical Supramolecular Chemistry. I have ten years of research experience in the general areas of analytical and physical organic chemistry including two years of experience working for a drug discovery and development company (Chembiotek Research International, India). My research interests encompass studies of extraction of metal ions using novel chelating extractants, design and syntheses of novel electro-active organic molecules that can be utilized as sensors, switches and wires for electronics and optoelectronics and technological development in flame retardancy of polymeric materials.
