Work History

Licensed Insurance Agent

Ambetter (through Results-CX)
09.2021 - Current
  • I started training to sell Affordable Care Act Plans with Ambetter September 24th 2021. This position is with the same company I previously sold Medicare Advantage plans with for almost six years. I spent 4 weeks in training and started taking calls November 1st 2021 (the first day of OEP for Marketplace Plans).
  • My first Open Enrollment Period in this line of business went very well, getting just under 300 enrollments during that time. I’ve since had three more successful OEP seasons and have been assisting members with SEP enrollments during the off season.
  • Skills / Accomplishments:
  • Always being polite and professional and building rapport with callers.
  • Keeping a pace that is comfortable with the caller and finding a call flow that both keeps the call conversational while also meeting QA standards.
  • Licensed to sell in 32 states.
  • I’ve worked several outbound campaigns in addition to inbound calls (binder payment calls, Medicaid Redetermination calls, outreach to individuals who gave contact info at events, preventive services outreach to current members, etc).
  • Performing a deep dive of needs analysis of the caller’s health care usage to identify their needs and to match them with a plan that will meet those needs.
  • Ensuring any prescriptions and doctors they use are covered to ensure the plan works for them.
  • Proficient and comfortable navigating multiple computer systems.
  • I can type over 100 words per minute which is helpful in notating in depth call summaries as well as notating things mentioned by the caller to address in the plan presentation to show I’m actively listening to their needs and building rapport.
  • Assisted training of new hires for ramp up season for Open Enrollment in 2022, 2023, & 2024 as a SME (Subject Matter Expert).

Bill Of Materials Data Coordinator

PJ Trailer Manufacturing Inc
06.2020 - 09.2021
  • I started with PJ Trailers June 1st of 2020 in the receiving department. My responsibilities were:
  • Checking in trucks and ensuring the paperwork matched what was on the delivery.
  • Sorting parts from cardboard boxes into metal bins to be more easily transported by forklift.
  • January 1st of 2021 I was promoted to work as a BOM Data Coordinator. I started out learning how to make BOMs for new BOMs required and keep them ahead so trailers can be released into production on time. My responsibilities were:
  • Making new BOMs from "BOMs Required" for production.
  • Performing BOM Reviews and trailer audits then meeting with Engineering to decide if a change to the BOM is needed or if the shop needs to adhere to the components in the BOM.

Licensed Insurance Agent

WellCare (through Results-CX)
09.2014 - 05.2020

While with this company I also worked in various other programs such as MOOP, Ad Hoc, Outbound campaigns, Medicaid Provider Services (assisting with claims, eligibility, authorization requests, and more).
  • I also trained a few classes of new hires to pass their resident State exams and spent two weeks at another site in Pennsylvania to train a class of licensed agents for an outbound campaign. I spent one AEP as a Supervisor of a team of roughly 20 agents. My duties were helping agents improve their performance by listening, grading, and coaching them on their calls.
