• Report to clinical coordinator or practice administrator.
• Answer phones and take messages.
• Perform nursing procedures under supervision of the provider.
• Escort patients to exam rooms, triage patients, measure vital signs, including weight, and blood pressure on chart.
• Give instructions to patients as instructed by the provider.
• Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, and prepare sterilization.
• Ensure all related reports, labs and information is filed and available in patients medical records prior visit.

Front Office Duties

• Promptly answering incoming phone calls.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring optimal clinic efficiency and minimal wait times for patients.
• Uploading patients information accurately into the system.
• Handle incoming messages and emails.
• Scan/Upload/Fax documents ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Checking patients in/out the office in a timely manner.

Back Office Duties

• Accurately assessing and documenting vital signs.
• Perform phlebotomy to obtain blood samples for diagnostic tests.
• Perform point of care testing such as blood glucose monitoring, urine pregnancy tests, rapid strep, flu and covid swabs.
• Prepare and administer medication via injection as directed by the physician.
• Assisted physicians with minor procedures and ensured patient comfort and safety throughout the process.
• Maintained exam rooms in accordance with OSHA standards for health and safety and sanitized exam instruments.
