Licensed Optical Leader who is highly motivated, reliable and dedicated with 17 years of experience. 8 years in small business helping establish a multi unit exam practice that was built on professional development and commitment that ultimately lead to significant growth. The last 3 years helping build that same basis to grow, train and coach leaders and peers from multiple locations for professional development within a larger organization. Maintaining focuses and commitments around KPI's that have always produced significant and consistent results, while being able to hold myself and those around me accountable. With the optical industry being as unique as it is, I pride myself on the level of dedication I provide not only to the trade but as a mentor to those around me to help create more opportunity from every facet of business, not only metrics but in development and growth of those around me.
At the end of December 2020 MyEyeDr had purchased Insight Optical and I had a brief employment experience with them until the beginning of March.
The manager who gave me the opportunity at Lenscrafters was leaving the company and offered me to come with them to ForEyes. My job primarily consisted of selling glasses, trouble shooting, and general repairs. I worked a lot of closing shifts by myself, and was very comfortable working alone if needed as there was never an issue I couldn't handle on my own. I eventually was transferred to the Burlington M.A. location where I spent the last year with the company and started my apprenticeship through the state of Massachusetts.
At 18 I started my career in the optical field at lenscrafters. Pretests for the OD exam lane, measurements, fitting, trouble shooting, lab work with cutting of lenses.
