I am going into my Junior year of school and I currently play on the hockey team at school. This past spring I was chosen by all of the players to be next year's assistant captain. Being an assistant captain as a junior is a rare achievement and something I am very proud of and excited to start leading this team in the winter. This shows that I am well respected by all of my teammates and they have faith in me to make the right decisions as well as be the voice in the locker room to make sure everything is going in the right direction.
