Service Activities

09/01/23 - 05/01/24, Roberts-Gilbertson Community Engagement Project, Five students partnered with community organizations to design and implement a project that benefited the organization’s targeted community beneficiaries. Included in this project was the grant writing process. We successfully designed and implemented a literacy awareness event for the Bay-Arenac Counties Independent School District, in which children and parents received educational materials as well as free books, crafts, and the opportunity to read to therapy dogs. The success of the singular event ensured that it would continue under the direct supervision of the Bay-Arenac ISD.
